My Writing

I consider myself first and foremost a writer, above all else. I am by no means prolific, and I don't think of myself even as being particularly skilled, but I do love to tell stories. On this page you will find my various attempts at forging thoughts into the written word, in any and all formats.

One Monkey

One Monkey is a place where I can post short fiction, on roughly a daily basis. There's no set schedule or topic, and I'm defining "short fiction" very loosely: on any given day, you might find a science-fiction short story or a poem set in contemporary suburbia. The idea is to give myself an outlet, without any editors, any limits, or any self-censorship.

My Weblog

My weblog is where I am most prolific, at the moment. It is almost entirely nonfiction.
Aleae Iaciens is a weblog I maintained for a few years, which was my attempt at "live" development of a role-playing game, Frontier, as well as various thoughts on writing and role-playing games in general. Also of note are the posts by my co-host fade, the designer of the card game SPANC, and an author in her own right.
For several years I maintained two Livejournal accounts, one personal and one devoted to writing. Both are now defunct.

My Writing

I write in many different formats - prose, poetry, scripts, non-fiction, et cetera. This will be updated as more is uploaded and/or written.
